This Privacy Policy explains how IB Offer collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you visit iboffer.com, join the waitlist, contact us, create an account, or use our investment banking interview-prep tools. This page is intended to describe the product as it is built today and the services we are preparing to launch, not generic boilerplate.

1. Who we are

IB Offer is an educational interview-prep product for investment banking candidates. For privacy questions, data requests, or deletion requests, contact us at privacy@iboffer.com or through the contact page.

4. Legal bases where required

Where laws such as GDPR require a legal basis, we rely on consent for optional marketing and analytics where required, contract or pre-contract steps to provide requested access, legitimate interests to operate and improve the product, and legal obligations where we must keep records or respond to lawful requests.

5. AI processing

IB Offer is designed to help candidates practice interviews. When AI-powered features are available, prompts, answers, transcripts, and feedback may be sent to AI infrastructure to generate practice questions, evaluate answers, and produce feedback. Do not submit bank confidential information, employer confidential information, personal financial details, or any information you do not have permission to share.

For the resume analyzer, the raw resume text is used only to generate the requested review and is discarded after processing. Resume files are not kept as stored documents. We may keep the generated score report temporarily for up to 24 hours so the user can unlock the result. After unlock, the detailed report is cleared and we retain the email plus anonymized extracted features for product quality, debugging, and abuse prevention.

We use trusted providers to run the site and app. These providers process information only for the services they provide to us.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, professional advisors, legal authorities when required, or a successor entity if IB Offer is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer.

We use essential cookies and similar technologies for security, sessions, and site functionality. If analytics are enabled, we may use analytics cookies or event tracking to understand site usage and improve the product. See our Cookie Policy.

9. Retention

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including managed hosting, managed database infrastructure, access controls, and secret management. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so use care with what you submit.

11. International transfers

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers are handled through provider safeguards such as contractual commitments and other recognized transfer mechanisms.

12. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to, or restrict certain processing of your personal information. You can request this by emailing privacy@iboffer.com. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails when email campaigns begin.

13. Children

IB Offer is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

14. Changes

We may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
